No. With your own cloud key you pay your provider directly at their published prices, Hetzner at Hetzner prices, AWS at AWS prices. Akua charges only for the management layer.
It is a one-time trial: one Akua-managed machine, ever, across all your workspaces. It lives 7 days with reminders at five days, two days and 24 hours. After that you run on your own cloud key or on Pro.
Your workspace stays on Pro until the end of the billing period. Then auto-scaling pauses and managed machines are suspended, not deleted. Snapshots are kept for 90 days, so re-subscribing restores them with the same hostname and data.
Each workspace has its own plan. Your personal rate limits follow the highest tier across your workspaces, so upgrading one workspace to Pro raises them everywhere.
Most enterprise customers do. Custom limits, dedicated control planes and hands-on migration apply to the platform; compute still runs in your account at your provider’s prices.
